Maggie  is our sweetheart. (She is also the mother of Shadow ) Maggie thinks she owns the place...and I guess she owns a lot of it!  Her foals have earned me some good money.
Maggie foaled Bubba in March of '01 and turned 24 a couple of weeks later. Maggie came off the QH track.  We were always proud of Bully's
speed until last summer.  I yelled for the horses to come to the barn.  They all came running.  Bully ahead...then out of nowhere came Maggie, Bully ate her dust.  She beat him by 5 lengths.  Needless to say, Bully was totally embarrassed.  (As was I)  Bully has since decided to exercise and stay in better shape.  Maggie foals the perfect conformation Quarter Horse.  She teaches her foals to try any door or gate to see if they are latched or not, if not, shove those suckers open with their nose and hope there is a human standing behind them to get hit. We have owned Maggie for 15 years and hope she is around for another 15.

Daisy, granddaughter of the above mare and daughter of Shadow.  A real pleasure to own.  Can also be irritating. Too nosey and steals apples.  We will be looking for a stud to breed her to in the future.
Photo taken at age 3.
Minnie, purchased as a weanling at a sale, for a future broodmare prospect. Born and bred in Minnesota.  Photo at 16 months of age
